Dominic Korzelius - President
After founding the Oklahoma Heritage Railway Association (O.H.R.A.) in 2023 alongside Michael Massey, Dominic Korzelius has served as the organization’s President, passionately championing its mission to preserve and celebrate Oklahoma’s rich railroading heritage while promoting railroad safety. Dominic brings three generations of family railroading tradition to the group, infusing his leadership with both personal history and professional dedication.
“My fascination with railroading began at a very young age. My grandparents owned a store across from the Burlington Northern mainline through Verdigris, OK. I have fond memories of sitting outside the storefront with my grandfather, spending hours watching trains. Ever since then, the bug of railroad enthusiasm has run deep.”
Dominic regularly spends time tending to his own 7 1/2'“ live steam locomotive, and previously served as a Conductor and Engineer Trainee on the Stillwater Central Railroad.
Michael Massey - Vice President
Michael Massey brings four generations of railroad heritage to the Oklahoma Heritage Railway Association, all rooted in the St. Louis & San Francisco (Frisco) Railroad. His deep connection to railroading history is matched by his decades-long commitment to preservation and restoration. Beginning in the 1980s, Michael championed restoration efforts for the iconic Frisco 4500 “Meteor” locomotive as part of the now-defunct Sunbelt Railroad Historical Society. His leadership extended to serving as President of the Route 66 Historical Village, where the 4500 proudly stands today as a testament to his dedication and vision.
Tyler Phillips - Public Relations Officer
Tyler Phillips brings a lifelong passion for railroading and extensive technical and logistical expertise from his years in the railroading industry to his role with the Oklahoma Heritage Railway Association. As the organization’s Public Relations Officer, Tyler has been instrumental in forging connections with local railroad-based organizations, strengthening collaborative efforts to preserve and revitalize Oklahoma’s railroading heritage. His dedication and industry knowledge play a key role in advancing the association’s mission to safeguard timeless artifacts and share the rich history of railroading in the state.
